Growing up in Davenport, Iowa, I've had a lot of experience with chiropractic care and chiopractic doctors. I have always been happy with the rsults and with my care provider. What makes D. Karen's practice unique is not her excellent standards of care (most chiropractors provide amazing and professional care), but that she spends time with the patient and explains the patient's problems, the chiopractic care processes, and she answers any questions the patient might have.  Additionally, she continuously engages the patient throughout the process. I came to Atlas Chiropractic about three months ago very reluctantly and quite skeptical about what chiropractic care could do to help me.  I came in due to severe pain behind my right scapula and lower back pain.  Dr. Karen made me realize that this pain was associated to some deformations in my spine that had occurred secondary to an injury I had in 1998 and of which I had no idea about until now.  As a registered nurse, my line of work expects me to be bending over and lifting patients many times per shift.  Hence, I was skeptical about whether this care would work for me.  Dr. Karen managed to work with my tough night shift schedule and was able to creat a very personalized schedule, which allowed me to come in at the times that worked best for me.  Chiropractic care has been very successful for me and I now find myself feeling much better and experiencing less back pain while at work.  Furthermore, what makes coming to Atlas Chiropractic even better is being greeted with a sincere and energetic smile every single time you walk in through the door.  It definately makes you want to come back over and over again...
